I was inspired by a small statue atop my roommates bookshelf. I took the statue up to my loft and started sketching… After a few sketches I decided I would take pictures each step of the way and make a nicer drawing, instead of a sketch…

Most people complain because they think they “don’t know how to draw” but here you have proof that it’s possible to turn a stick figure into a quality drawing, and it didn’t even take an hour to do.

If you’re interested in drawing at all, then I encourage you to try your skills and start by drawing the things around you. That’s what most artists did to get started.

If you like drawing – DO IT! All you need is a pencil and a pad of paper. If you want to be a good artist then you need to practice, and it doesn’t take much. Just a few sketches a day on anything from notebooks to napkins and you’ll find your skills improving.

My goal is to help people who think they can’t draw or paint to start making quality art that can sell – and to help people to live a successful creative lifestyle whether or not it includes artwork.
